There’s no place like home. And for Rex Orange County – Alex O’Connor to his parents – that’s Haslemere, a sleepy 13^th Century town in South England, populated by around 17,000 people. He’s moved up to London now, but Haslemere provided an element of inspiration for ‘Apricot Princess’, his new album, out today. It follows ‘bcos u will never b free’, a record he self-released last year that introduced audiences to his unique sound, blending jazz, rap, pop, and the best of mid-00s indie.

Colouring have released a music video for latest single 'Colouring', which features dancer Claudia Maybury covered in gold bodypaint, and was choreographed by Alexandra Green (who has also worked on music videos for musicians such as MØ and Frightened Rabbit).

Following their announcements of tours this year with Twin Peaks and Wavves, Post Animal have just announced their very own tour for the USA across June, July and August.

The tour will kick off on June 1st in Brooklyn at Baby’s All Right, and continue over the months until ending up in Kansas City.
