Harry Styles = writing with Max Martin and Bruno Mars.

News has surfaced on Harry Style’s upcoming solo music - something that we’ve been intrigued about for a little while - but the news comes from a somewhat strange source.

Robbie Williams recently did an interview with Radio Times, during which he talked about when he discovered what Harry has been up to.

He said the following:

"Last year I tried to work with Bruno Mars – didn't hear anything back. Tried to work with Max Martin – didn't hear anything back. They literally didn't return my calls.

Tegan and Sara - 'Closer' acoustic video.

Tegan and Sara have released an acoustic video of their 2012 hit ‘Closer’, in support of virtual music festival Bedstock - which rallies for hospitalised children during the festive season.

About the performance, Sara said: “The idea is so simple, to perform from bed for those who can't leave theirs. It truly touched us to consider what it might be like for those kids to have an opportunity to see a massive number of musicians perform for their them in an intimate setting."

Listen: Scarlett Johansson’s song for 'Sing' - 'Set It All Free'.

Ahead of the release of the new animated film, ‘Sing’, one of Scarlett Johansson’s songs from the soundtrack has been released. It’s called ‘Set It All Free’, and it’s just as inspirational as it sounds.

The soundtrack also features Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande’s ‘Faith’ - as well as several other songs from Scar-Jo.

Vampire Weekend reportedly sign to Columbia Records.

According to sources at Hits Daily Double - a fairly reliable music industry insider - Vampire Weekend have signed to Columbia Records.

This means their upcoming fourth album (expected for release in 2017) will not be on XL Recordings, but with Columbia. There’s also hints of the album being set for release during second or third quarter next year (which means sometime between April and September).

Regardless, I’m just excited for some new VW music! I can’t believe it’s been three years since ‘Modern Vampires Of The City’.
