Thanks to the below video captured by a fan, we can now hypothesise that The 1975 appear to have paid homage to Talking Heads' 1984 concert film, 'Stop Making Sense', with their upcoming 'It’s Not Living (If It’s Not With You)’ music video (out tomorrow!).

Today might not be June 1st, but for The 1975 it’s still a very, very significant day - the day that their third album, ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ is released into the world.

And to mark this very special occasion, we have compiled an important list of five things that are beneficial for you to know today.

#1. Ahead of the album’s release, frontman Matty Healy did a video explaining the meaning behind ‘Sincerity Is Scary’ for Genius.

Gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated new album 'A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships' (out this Friday!), The 1975 returned to BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge today to perform a cover of Ariana Grande's 'thank u, next', as well as a few of their own new songs - 'It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)', 'TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME', and 'Sincerity Is Scary'.

Coup De Main presents: Kacey Musgraves announces May 2019 New Zealand show with Bahamas.

In splendid news for anyone that has ever known a 'Space Cowboy' (basically absolutely everybody), Kacey Musgraves today announces that she is confirmed to come to New Zealand for the very first time ever, playing one show only at the Auckland Town Hall on Friday, May 17th, with special guest Bahamas supporting.

Tickets go on sale from midday on Friday, November 30th.
