Fleet Foxes have just announced their new album ‘Crack-Up’, which is set for release on June 16th, their first release since 2011’s ‘Helplessness Blues’ - and have given the first taster via a nine-minute song called ’Third of May / Ōdaigahara’.
The 11 songs on the album were all written by frontman Robin Pecknold, and produced with his bandmate Skyler Skjelset, and were recorded between July 2016 and January 2017.
Lifted from their brand new album, ‘Weatherless’ (out now!), The Map Room have just released a music video for ‘Hold Me Up To The Sun’, directed by Alexander Gandar.
Following the release of his debut album ‘Swordfish’ last year, Merk has dropped his first ever music video, for his song ‘I’m Easy’.
The video was directed by Robert Wallace AKA Parallel Teeth, with illustrated characters created by Robert and Caitlin McCarthy. About the video, Parallel Teeth said: “The two main inspirations were Merk’s paper cut-out album cover and photos of him in his iconic egg glasses. Personally I wanted it to be bold, loose and playful.”

Banks has just dropped a brand new song in the form of ‘Crowded Places’, which features in the series finale of the latest season of ‘Girls’.
The song was co-written with Banks, Tim Anderson, and Jack Antonoff - who also produced the heartbreakingly intimate song.

There’s sadly no news of any New Zealand date(s), but Tove Lo will play Splendour In The Grass 2017 sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne this July if you missed out on tickets to SITG itself.
Two Door Cinema Club have announced Splendour In The Grass 2017 sideshows for Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne - with Australian bands Last Dinosaurs and The Creases also confirmed as support for all shows.
Los Angeles based Elohim has just released a new single in the form of ‘Skinny Legs’, which was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show last week.
The track is even more electronically bold than we’ve heard from her before, showcasing both Elohim’s abilities as a vocalist and a producer.
