Last Friday (31st March) saw the London date of the triple-bill, three-week UK tour of artists from Dirty Hit (the independent label that includes The 1975, Wolf Alice and The Japanese House on its impressive roster) hit Tufnell Park. This particular run of shows was headlined by Superfood - recent Dirty Hit signees currently prepping their first release with the label, their as-yet-untitled sophomore LP. Supporting them were King Nun and Pale Waves, two exciting young four-pieces being introduced to the label’s devoted audience on this tour.

At the GLAAD Media Awards held in Los Angeles this past weekend, 21-year-old Troye Sivan became the youngest ever recipient of the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, dedicating his award to LGBTQ activists including Peter Staley, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Bayard Rustin, and Gilbert Baker.

Following the release of her 'Bellyache' music video last week, Billie Eilish has also now dropped a new song titled 'Bored', which features on the soundtrack of the new Netflix show, '13 Reasons Why'.

In extra good news for anyone going to The 1975’s upcoming North American tour with Pale Waves - or thinking about buying a ticket - fellow UK band Colouring have now also been added to select dates.

The Big Moon recently performed a cover of Usher’s classic single 'U Remind Me' for Huw Stephens' Radio 1 Piano Sessions, as well as a rendition of their own song 'Formidable'.
