Interview: Kane Strang on his upcoming sophomore album.

‘Oh So You’re Off I See’, the first single from Kane Strang’s upcoming sophomore album marks a change in his musical process - with it being the first song he properly collaborated with his band on.

Since the release of ‘Blue Cheese’ last year, and earlier releases prior to that (that have since been deleted from the Internet), he’s gone on to sign with international label Dead Oceans - who also look after Mitski, Alex Lahey, Slowdive, and Marlon Williams.

Glass Animals - 'Pork Soda' music video.

In typical Glass Animals fashion, their music video for latest single 'Pork Soda' is brilliantly self-referential, with multiple other characters from their 'How To Be A Human Being' album-world given sly nods - from Chuck Rogers' Palmbrella invention being advertised on TV, to Mr Jennings watching basketball (is this a hint that 'The Other Side Of Paradise' will be their next single?), and the liberation of mayonnaise from jars.

The xx - 'Say Something Loving' music video.

The xx have released a nostalgic music video for 'Say Something Loving' which was filmed in their hometown of London, and directed by Alasdair McLellan who also helmed the 'On Hold' video.

About their new video, the band says: "We wanted to celebrate our home town and revisit some of the places that reminds us of our friendship when we were growing up. We're so happy to be back home and so excited to begin our Night + Day residency in Brixton this week!"

Listen: Dream Wife - 'Somebody'.

Just in time for International Women’s Day, UK band Dream Wife share an important empowering message in their new single, "I am not my body, I am somebody," ahead of their upcoming American debut at SXSW and tour with The Kills.

About their new song, the band says: "'Somebody' is a ballad for women. The song explores the experience of living in a female body within our society. It's a conversation on the reclamation of bodies by the women who occupy them in a tender, yet direct and empowering way."

Julia Michaels - 'Issues' music video.

Julia Michaels has now dropped a music video for her debut single, 'Issues', which was directed by Tabitha Denholm and shows her having a contemplative out-of-body experience of sorts.

About the video, Julia says: "In the 'Issues' video, I'm going through flashbacks from the night before with my boyfriend after waking up alone. I’m reflecting on the issues we have, but also remembering the great moments, and how much we love each other too."
